Prescott Valley Days offers a variety of events for all

Prescott Valley’s 36th annual Prescott Valley Days kicks off this week, 
showcasing everything from music to family entertainment, a carnival, vendors, quilt show, model railroad displays, an RV show – and, of course, a parade. The Bradshaw Mountain High cheer squad was in the parade last year, and they are expected to be joined by many groups and floats. The parade route will travel along Florentine beginning at Yavapai and ending at the BMO Harris Bank parking lot.<br>

Prescott Valley's 36th annual Prescott Valley Days will showcase everything from music to family entertainment, a parade, carnival, vendors, quilt show, model railroad displays and an RV show.

The carnival kicks off Thursday, June 12, and runs through Sunday, June 15. The popular Prescott Valley Idol will hold its competition on Friday, June 13, starting at 7 p.m., where many talented singers compete for prizes and a trophy.

The parade, sponsored by the Early Bird Lions Club, begins at 9 a.m. Saturday. This year's theme is "Enjoying the Good Life!" The parade route will travel along Florentine beginning at Yavapai and ending at the BMO Harris Bank parking lot.

New this year is an RV and sports show in the Entertainment District. Affinity RV, Star Island Motorsports and Outdoor Sports will have RVs, bikes and other outdoor vehicles on display.

Also on Saturday, enjoy a quilt show presented by the Lonesome Valley Quilt Guild and the Model Railroad display beginning at 10 a.m. inside the Tim's Toyota Center. Family entertainment and demonstrations begin at 10 a.m.

Live music begins outdoors on the main stage at 5 p.m. with music by Bittersweet, followed by Filabusta at 7:30 p.m. Matchstick Rush Fire will perform demonstrations on Friday and Saturday. The Beer Garden opens at 5 p.m. on Friday and 4 p.m. on Saturday, while live remotes by Q102.9FM and KKLD "The Cloud" begin at 4 p.m. each day. Sunday activities include the carnival and arts and craft vendors.
