Celia Elizabeth (Cross) Webb

Celia Elizabeth (Cross) Webb passed away on June 2, 2014, at her home in Prescott, Ariz., at the age of 100. She was born, May 7, 1914, in Paris, Texas, to Charles Frederick and Retta Claire (Corry) Cross.

Celia attended Paris High School and Texas State Teacher's College. She was a homemaker, who enjoyed cooking, decorating and bible study. Celia was one of the original founders of the Prescott Fine Arts Association, a member of Smoki, PEO and First Congregational Church. Mrs. Webb and her late husband Wilmer also were the owners of The Prescott Auto Supply Company, their late daughter, Susan, was also named Miss Arizona in 1961.

Celia was preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer J. Webb; and daughter, Susan Nell Webb.

She is survived by her nieces, Elizabeth (Bettie) DeYulia, Judy Bankhead, and Ann Webb; nephews, Fred Cross, Mike Cross, and Tom Webb; several grand nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 5, 2014, at Hampton Funeral Home. Visitation will be prior to service from 1 to 2 p.m., with graveside to follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
