Learn how to help local Monarch butterflies by planting milkweed

On Saturday, July 19, from 9 a.m. to noon, take a scenic trip to Skull Valley for a presentation on Fiona Reid's milkweed growing and seed-collecting project at the Painted Lady Vineyard there, along with education on the status of the Monarch migration in Arizona, and tagging butterflies, if they are in residence.

Admission to the presentation Friday evening is free, the field trip to Skull Valley is $25 for members and $35 for nonmembers. Pre-registration is required and transportation is not included.
