Franklin Shill Bueler

Franklin Shill Bueler, 69, of Camp Verde, Ariz. passed away Jan. 19, 2014. He was born May 6, 1944 to Frank and June (Shill) Bueler in Austin, Texas.

He was a graduate of Chandler High School and served a full-time mission in the southern states for The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints. He then served in the U.S. Army. He married Karen Ramey and they eventually had seven sons. He attended the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science and returned to the family business in Arizona. He spent many hours doing volunteer work in the community. In 1986, he moved his family to Prescott, Ariz. and enjoyed many years as a Funeral Director there. In 2005, he moved to Camp Verde and assisted his son, Benjamin with the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his son Adam; father Frank; and sister Suzanne. He is survived by his loving wife Karen; sons, Samuel, Ethan (Elisa), Jonathan (Marsha), Benjamin (Michelle), Alexander, Graham and Elliott (Elizabeth); his mother June; sisters, Helen and Gayle; brother Gordon; and 17 grandchildren.

A visitation will be 9 a.m., Friday, Jan. 24, 2014 with funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints, 1115 E. Ray Road, Chandler, Ariz. A Camp Verde visitation will be the evening of Friday, Jan. 24, 2014 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Bueler residence, 82 E. Walker Road. Visitation will be continued at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014 with funeral service to follow at 10 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Latter-day Saints, Camp Verde Chapel, 360 S. 5th Street Camp Verde, Ariz. Rather than flowers, the Bueler family requests that you offer a quiet act of service in Franklin's memory.
