Obituary: Erma Guadalupe Soqui Cueto Schoeppner

On Jan. 5, 2014, Erma Guadalupe Soqui Cueto Schoeppner found her eternal rest with our Lord in heaven. Erma was a devoted Catholic, wife, mother, nana, aunt, sister and friend. She prayed the Rosary daily, loved spending time with her family and lived each day to best serve the Lord.

Erma is survived by her husband of 43 years, Charles; her three daughters, Maria, Elisa and Carolyn; her three sons by marriage, Bob, Anthony and Damon; her seven grandchildren; and her brother Rudy.

The family would like to thank their loved ones who have supported them in love and prayer and the many doctors and nurses who cared for Erma.

There will be a visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014, at Queen of Heaven Catholic Mortuary, 1562 E. Baseline Road, Mesa, Ariz., with the Rosary recited at 7 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1244 S. Power Road, Mesa, Ariz., with a luncheon reception following. Afterward, Erma's body will be laid to rest at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, 2033 N. 48th St., Phoenix, Ariz.
