Virtually every aspect of planning the perfect wedding will be at brides' fingertips Sunday at the 2014 Prescott Bridal Affair Expo at the Hassayampa Inn, 122 E. Gurley St.
"A lot of energy and excitement to showcase their services and products" is building among more than 50 vendors who will be on hand, said Hazel Bowman, publisher of PrescottWeddings.com, organizer of the event.
The expo, which is free, begins at 10 a.m. and runs until 3 p.m., offering a host of ideas for brides to consider for their big day as they explore vendors representing every major category of services for weddings.
Besides vendors who will offer samples of wedding cakes and catered fare, highlights will be raffles for prizes every 45 minutes, a grand prize at the end of the day, and interactive fashion shows.
Every bride who registers at the door will receive raffle tickets and a chance at the grand prize, which is a "platinum vacation getaway." Raffle prizes will include gift certificates for different services a bride would enjoy, along with personal care products.
The interactive fashion show of wedding apparel will give brides the chance to see the garments first-hand and touch the fabrics, Bowman said.
All of this will be enhanced by a strolling violinist playing music throughout the day, which will include "a lot of everything" for brides to consider for their weddings.
