The Legends of the Celtic Harp will feature traditional tunes, storytelling, histories and myths surrounding the ancient musical instrument in a performance tonight at the Trinity Presbyterian Church.

The show begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. The church is located at 630 Park Ave.

The Legends of the Celtic Harp ensemble includes Patrick Ball, Lisa Lynne and Aryeh Frankfurter. The trio deals with ancient to modern stories surrounding the Celtic harp, which goes back over a millennium, with Ball playing his vintage wire-strung harp and the others on nylon-string harps, as well as the Swedish Nyckelharps, cittern and mandolin. They have selected music, stories, poetry and theatrical pieces in which the Celtic harp is the main character.
