Les Stukenberg/The Daily Courier<br>Fifteen hundred job-seekers converged on the Yavapai College Gym in Prescott for a 2012 job fair.

The 23rd annual job fair at Yavapai College will take place March 28. The fair will be open to jobseekers. Employers interested in hosting a booth at the job fair must complete a registration form and pay the exhibitor booth fee no later than Friday, Feb. 14, to be listed in the program.

In recent years, 50 to 60 employers have had booths at the job fair, and the number of job seekers has averaged about 1,000 each year. More than 30 employers have already signed up for this year's fair.

Exhibitor registration forms are available by calling DES Employment Service Supervisor Linda Brannock at 277-2709, or Laura Warne at the Prescott Chamber of Commerce (445-2000.) The business rate is $60 and includes a six-foot table, two chairs and two lunches. Nonprofits can register at the reduced rate of $30.

The job fair will be held in Yavapai College's Walraven Gym (building 2 on the Prescott campus) from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, March 28, and is free and open to the public. Exhibitors will provide information about careers and current employment openings.

The Job Fair is sponsored by Yavapai College, the Prescott Chamber of Commerce, the Northern Arizona Council of Governments and DES Employment and Veterans Services. This year's co-sponsors so far include the Better Business Bureau, Fann Contracting, Yavapai Broadcasting, and the Hair, Nail and Skin Institute.
