The Prescott Area Artists' Studio Tour is now accepting applications for the seventh annual Prescott Area Artists' Studio Tour, which will be held on Oct. 3, 4 and 5.

The studio tour, sponsored by the Mountain Artists Guild, is open to all artists in the quad-city area - Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, Mayer and Dewey-Humboldt - and the near surrounding areas.

This is a juried show and applications will be accepted until April 11. Entry fee is $150, or $125 if the application is received by the early bird deadline of March 14.

Artists may choose to have their own studio; be a host studio with participating artists; or be included in another studio.

Last year this free, self-guided tour featured more than 40 participating artists each day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 23 locations in the quad-city area. Some of the categories include wheel-thrown and hand-built ceramics, digital art, furniture, photography, printmaking, woodworking, metalworking, painting, jewelry making, mixed media, sculpture, fiber art and glass.

Applications are available at Mountain Artists Guild, 228 N. Alarcon St., Prescott, or at www.mountainartistsguild.org. Applications may also be downloaded from the Studio Tour website, www.prescottstudiotour.com.
