Obituary: Paula S. Shulak

Paula S. Shulak, 78, passed away peacefully in Dewey, Arizona, on Dec. 22, 2014, after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Albany, New York, on June 20, 1936, to Saul and Sadie Segal, joining older sisters Eleanor and Marian.

Paula worked as a teacher and also loved the theater, participating as a director, actress, producer and arts reviewer. She was also active in her synagogue and treasured spiritual things.

Paula was loved dearly and will be missed by her husband, Carl A. Shulak; daughters Rena and Ellen; sons Ronald and Edward; and 12 grandchildren.

Memorial services are scheduled for noon on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014, at Temple B'rith Shalom, 2077 Brohner Way, Prescott, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society or Temple B'rith Shalom would be appreciated.
