Dear Santa: A holiday wish
My wish is not for me but for niece, Hailey Jannett, a 19-month-old beautiful little girl who had a terrible accident three weeks ago. Hailey had her little hands trapped in a moving treadmill. This has caused terrible injuries by burning her skin off and giving deep cuts down to her bones. She also had some of the tendons in her hand stretched to the point of them snapping.
Hailey is such a brave little girl. She has had two surgeries so far, and had to have skin grafts twice and more than fifty stitches in both hands.
Hailey is due another surgery soon and the doctors will not operate until they receive a certain amount of money. Her parents have received a massive amount of hospital bills and will need a little help to pay for the surgeries. Hailey will also be going through therapy for the next two years as she is having problems with movement in her hands.
Christmas is going to be a very tough time for the family, but the three other children are willing to give up their gifts to help pay for Hailey's surgeries. If anyone can help little Hailey, a donation account has been established at Wells Fargo in the name of her uncle, Andrew Jannett, who will administer the account.
