Trinity Lutheran Church will present its Christmas Cantata, "The First Noel - Celebrating the Birthday of a King," 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20. The church is located at 3950 N. Valorie Drive in Prescott Valley. Coffee and cookie reception will follow the performance. For information, call 772-8845.

The Universal Healing Light Foundation is having a fundraiser Solstice potluck 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 21, in the Stoneridge Community Center Activity Room. The group is providing a turkey with dressing, along with drinks and table service. Bring $8 per family plus your favorite holiday side dish or dessert. In honor of Christmas, Prescott Valley Bible Church, 6411 N. Robert Road (Bradshaw Mountain High School East campus), would like to invite everyone to be a part of a special Christmas service for the family beginning with dinner at 6 p.m. followed by a special message titled "A Christmas to Remember" on Wednesday, Dec. 24. Mountain View Baptist Church in Dewey will have a candlelight service at 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve, Wednesday, Dec. 24.

The theme for the Christmas Eve 6:30 p.m. service will be "The Carols and Songs of Christmas." A brass quintet under the direction of Dr. Roy Breiling will have a mini concert beforehand beginning at 5:45 p.m.

Robert Road Baptist Church, 5100 N. Robert Road, Prescott Valley, will have a Christmas Eve candlelight service at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 24.

Pastor Tim Blau will officiate a Candlelight Christmas Eve service with Holy Communion at 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 24 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Prescott Valley, 3950 N. Valorie Drive.

Prescott Community Church, 3151 Willow Creek Road, is having a Christmas Eve Candlelight service 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 24. Join for the celebration of the birth of the Savior with the singing of Christmas carols and the lighting of the last Advent candle. For information, call 445-8008.

St. Germaine Catholic Church will have Wednesday, Dec. 24, Christmas Eve Mass at 4 p.m. (Children's), 6:30 p.m. (Spanish) and 9 p.m. (English). Daughters of Grace Ministries invites women to its spring Bible study beginning Jan. 6. Enjoy an in-depth, verse-by-verse study of the book of Hebrews taught by Melissa Fryrear, M.Div., the ministry's founder. Compassionate Friends, a support group for parents who have lost a child at any age or however long ago, meets the second Tuesday of each month at Prescott United Methodist Church, 505 W. Gurley St. Pastor Carol Mumford leads the group, and any community member who has lost a child may attend. This is just one of the support groups that meets each month at PUMC. Other groups offer support for those with health issues such as breathing problems, cancer, depression and fibromyalgia/chronic fatigue.
