Bring jeans, coats to Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary for those in need

Help reach the goal of 3,000 jeans and coats to provide warmth for those in need in Northern Arizona this holiday season. On Saturday, Dec. 13, anyone who brings a new or gently used pair of jeans or a coat to Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary will receive 50 percent off general admission.

Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. General admission prices are $8 for adults, $5 for children ages 3-12, children under 3, and HPZS members get in free.

Don't forget to visit the sanctuary on Friday and Saturday evenings for Wildlights and Animal Sights from 6 to 9 p.m. The park will be lighted with festive holiday decorations and spectacular light displays through Jan. 3. Special event admission fee is $3 for HPZS members and $5 for non-members. Concessions will be available during the event times and the Zoo Gift Shop, offering special holiday gifts, will be open.
