PRESCOTT - Celebrate the holiday and help a local youth theater raise money while enjoying dinner and a Christmas-themed show at El Gato Azul.

Joanne Robertson ("The Odd Couple" at PCA) and Sean Jeralds (professor at Embry-Riddle) star in the two-man show "The Christmas Tree," by Norm Foster.

The play is a lighthearted look at two strangers who meet at a tree lot on Christmas Eve. Both want the one remaining tree, which leads to a funny and touching discussion of who should have it.

Barry Barbe, owner of El Gato Azul, will serve a holiday tapas dinner to audience members.

The dinner theater runs at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 9, 10, 16 and 17. Tickets are $35 for the dinner and show and a re on sale at El Gato Azul, 316 W. Goodwin St., or by calling 928-445-1070.

The proceeds benefit Park Avenue Theater, a musical theater company for quad-city youth, located at Trinity Church at Park and Copper Basin. Their next show is "Seussical Jr.," which runs Feb. 20 through 27.
