Fans of El Gato Azul will tell you the Spanish-influenced world bistro is a "10" - and now, it literally is.

The tapas spot in downtown Prescott celebrates its 10th anniversary on Thursday, Dec. 4.

Owner Barry Barbe, a singer himself who performs at the restaurant on Sunday nights, is throwing a music party for El Gato's birthday, with local acts performing from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The schedule:

• Salt of the Earth, 11 a.m.

• Cheek2Cheek with Don and Jane Cheek, 1:30 p.m.

• Drew Hall and Anton Teschner, 4 p.m.

• The Ping Brothers, 6 p.m.

• Jazz Jam Session (bring your instrument if you want to sit in) with the Goodwin Street Gang.

El Gato's menu will also feature a few specials and new items.

El Gato Azul is located at 316 W. Goodwin St., Prescott. For
