NEED2KNOW: More jobs, growing your business, charitable acts

There are plenty of employment opportunities at Prescott Valley's booming Crossroads Shopping Center. T.J. Maxx is hiring 100 sales associates (most part-time) for its new store, which opens Sept. 21. If you missed last week's hiring events, you can still apply online at tjx.com, or at the grand opening.

Right next door to the new department store, Ulta Beauty is opening a beauty products store. To apply, go to careers.ulta.com.

More construction is planned for Crossroads, which should bring in several smaller stores ... and more jobs.

BELLY UP!

Ustadza Azra, director of New Moon Tribal Bellydance, will have a bellydance open house on Saturday, Aug. 23, from 2 to 4 p.m. The location is Lotus Bloom Yoga Studio, 777 W Hillside Ave., Prescott. "Participants will be able attend a free mini introduction to tribal bellydance class and dive into the graceful art of veil work," Azra said. The Ganapati Girls will be in attendance providing henna; the first three people will get henna work done for free. There will be a scarf-making station and Ustadza will give a dance demonstration.
