'Born to be Wild' at Sedona Arts Center

Blues Masters: The Real Deal teams with Duke of Blues at Marketplace Café

VILLAGE OF OAK CREEK - R.D. Olson and Tommy Dukes will be on stage together for two Saturday night dates - Aug. 9 and Aug. 30 - at Marketplace Café.

In the blues Universe, it doesn't get much better than this. With Olson - "The Real Deal" - and Tommy Dukes, who was inducted into the Arizona Blues Hall of Fame in 1997, you have a combination that is outstanding. Their voices and blues message is complimented by R.D. on harmonica and Tommy on guitar.

Solo guitarist Rick Cyge shares 'Guitartistry' around Sedona, Verde Valley

Enjoy the music of fingerstyle guitarist Rick Cyge at several great places around Sedona and Cottonwood this week. See his exciting solo "Guitartistry" performance on Saturday, Aug. 9, when Cyge serenades at Alcantara Vineyards & Winery in Cottonwood from noon to 4 p.m.

Then follow him over to Village of Oak Creek and see his exciting solo "Guitartistry" performance s at the inviting Hilton Restaurant & Bar Patio from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Join him Aug. 10 at Sound Bites Grill Celebrity Show Lounge for his newly added twice-monthly Sunday performances.

Then, on Monday, Aug. 11, Cyge returns to RENE at Tlaquepaque where he weaves the perfect tapestry of music for an elegant dinner from 6 to 9 p.m.

Cyge will perform selections from his recent CD release as he showcases his unique fingerstyle guitar playing.
