Windemere Real Estate gives $25K to CASA for Kids

Edward Pattermann, Agents and Staff of Windermere Real Estate Northern Arizona awarded $25,000 to Diana Dalsass (Chair Public Relations Committee), Janet Lincoln and Molly Sheehy, (AmeriCorps VISTA Volunteer) for the benefit of Yavapai Casa for Kids, Inc. on April 25, in the conclusion of the Windermere Charity Challenge.

The voting-based Charity Challenge was comprised of three states, Nevada, Utah and Arizona. With the help of the entire Prescott Community, Arizona won by over 1,000 votes.

Yavapai CASA for Kids, Inc. provides for local children in foster care and support the work of CASA volunteers by offering special projects, activities and funding for the needs of children in the Quad-City area.

According to Diana Dalsass, Yavapai Casa for Kids, "This check is the largest amount we have ever received and it will give us an extraordinary boost to our budget for the year, which will allow us to conduct three key programs that might have otherwise suffered."

Since it's inception in 2002, Windermere Real Estate, with offices in Prescott and Prescott Valley, has raised funds for various charities in the Quad-City area by having an annual golf tournament. Last year, for example, Windermere donated a grand total of $32,000 to 22 charities.

This years eighth annual Golf Classis will be on May 13 at Prescott Lakes Golf Club.
