Trinity Christian School to present 'Hunchback of Notre Dame' Friday
Trinity Christian School's drama department will present "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" at 1:30 and 7 p.m. Friday, April 11.
Loosely based on Victor Hugo's classic tale, this familiar story of love, faithfulness, and betrayal centers around the beautiful and kind gypsy dancer, Esmeralda, the beloved and handsome Capt. Phoebus, the cunning magistrate, Dom Frollo, and the tender-hearted bell ringer, Quasimodo.
Drama instructor and director Monique McConnell said the students have learned about the history of the Renaissance and discussed the themes in Hugo's original work. The Trinity Christian School Choir will be singing period music in both performances, and the audience will be invited to participate from time to time.
Tickets are available for $5 in advance through the Trinity Christian School office for both performances. Tickets will be available at the door for $7 each. Call 445-6306 for information and tickets.
