Elizabeth Grace Trupiano

Elizabeth Grace Trupiano (née Bault), Sept. 25, 1923 - March 31, 2014, age 90, passed away peacefully in Prescott Valley, Ariz., on March 31, 2014.

Elizabeth was born in Detroit where she and her husband Michael raised their family.

Elizabeth gave all to her family but also excelled from an early age in the textile arts and design. She expressed herself in these areas over her lifetime through sewing, embroidery, and her interest in the landscape and gardens that graced her home in Michigan.

In retirement, Elizabeth and Michael enjoyed traveling through the Western states and visiting grown children and grandchildren. They settled in Arizona in 1991, where they resided in Prescott and Scottsdale. For the past five years, Elizabeth has resided at the Good Samaritan Society Care Center, where she brought her special humor and kindness to each day for the other residents and caregivers.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Joseph (1995); a daughter, Christine (1950); and a son, Stephen James (2012).

Survivors include son, Martin John Trupiano and daughter-in-law, Sharon Lee Trupiano; daughters Nancy Jo Trupiano and Jeanne Marie Trupiano and son-in-law Mark A. Di Lucido. Grandchildren include Kimberly Ann Spelich, Christina Marie Barone, Lesley Beth Moon, Michael Victor Trupiano, Laura Elena Duvall, and Katherine Eugenie Di Lucido. Great-grandchildren include Brianna Forgac, Nicholas Forgac, Alexis Bonamase, and Dominique Bonamase. Great-great-grandchildren include Noah Wertz, Haley Cox, and Carter Bonamase.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 4, 2014, at the Paradise Memorial Gardens, 9300 E. Shea Blvd., Scottsdale, AZ 85260. Services are under the direction of Hansen Mortuary, Phoenix, Ariz. Please visit www.hansenmortuary.com for online condolences.
