Mortimer Family Farms is celebrating the fall harvest with a huge Pumpkin Festival & Corn Maze in October.
The festival will be every weekend in October at the farm in Dewey-Humboldt, at the corner of Highway 69 and 169. Hours are Fridays, 4-10 p.m.; Saturdays 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sundays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Kids of all ages can explore a 25-acre Pumpkin Patch, and find their way through a 15-acre Corn Maze.
Other events will include fireworks, fall décor, apple cider, farm hay rides, haunted house, ferris wheel and zip line, bubble run, corn bath, laser tag, climbing wall, barrel train, antique tractor pull, food and craft vendors and live entertainment.
Stay and party the night away with a farm dance, live country and western band, and entertainment each Saturday night.
Festival Admission is $12 (ages 2 and under free) and includes free parking.
The 15-acre Corn Maze this year is a tribute to the fallen 19 Granite Mountain Hotshots, carved in memory of the 19 men who died protecting Yarnell on June 30. Visitors will discover three separate mazes (appropriate for all ages). Mortimers will make sure you don't get "too lost."
While at the farm, visit the Farm Market Store and My Grandma's Kitchen, filled with fresh picked vegetables, baked goods and treats for the whole family.
Mortimer Family Farms is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Find more information at www.MortimerFamilyFarms.com or by calling 928-830-1116.
