Obituary: Robert "Bob" Remillard
Bob was born Aug. 6, 1928, in Omaha, Neb., to Rudolph and Marie Remillard.
When Bob was 4, his mother suffered a nervous breakdown and died shortly afterward. Bob's father raised him until he died when Bob was 14. Bob was sent to live with his Aunt Annie and Uncle Ed Herbst in Baker, Mich. After high school, Bob worked for the Montana Highway Department. He joined the Army in 1948. After moving to Arizona, Bob worked and retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents and son Michael. He is survived by his loving and caring wife Dorothy; his daughters Maria (Alan) McCrum, Mary (Rick) Allen and Shirley Carpenter; and son Tony.
A Rosary for Bob will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013, at St. Germaine's Catholic Church, 7997 E. Dana Drive, Prescott Valley, Ariz. Funeral mass to begin at 11 a.m. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013 at the Prescott National Cemetery.
