Brandie Kite-Sims

On Aug. 20, 2013, we lost our beautiful daughter, sister, wife, mom, to a burst brain aneurism. Brandie was very suddenly taken from us. She was born in Flagstaff, Ariz., to Cole and Tawny Lynn (Dunham) Kite on March 3, 1970. Such a happy baby!

She was predeceased by her dad on May 29, 2013. She is survived by her husband Mike; children Brittney, Justin and wife Jessica, Mathew and Wyatt; brother Brian and his wife Kelly, and their children Kayla and husband Nick, Tanner and wife Ariel and daughter, Leah, Baylee and Terah; one grandparent, Polly Dunham; many cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.

Brandie always did things her way. She was very dedicated to her family. She was looking forward to retiring from the U.S. Postal Service as a contract carrier in June, wanting to be a stay-at-home mom to the remaining two boys at home and doing her thing! She was a very good and loving mom and wife, a compassionate friend and daughter. She enjoyed life to the fullest. We all miss her so much. Rest in peace, Sweetheart, you are with the ones gone before you and we know you are happy. We will see you again. You are our angel now, watching over us.

Memorial contributions may be sent to an account set up to benefit the children's further education at Bank of America. Cards may be sent to Tawny Kite, P.O. Box 548, Black Canyon City, AZ 85324, or Mike Sims at 1896 N. Lapis Drive, Prescott, AZ 86301.
