Trinity Christian School to present 'A Christmas Carol
A cast of 22 Trinity Christian School students will take the stage on Dec. 13 for two performances of Dickens' "A Christmas Carol."
The production is a version of Charles Dickens's classic Christmas tale told from the perspective of a young boy's grandfather. Thomas enjoys spending time at his grandfather's prominent London business, but has trouble understanding why his grandfather would give his hard-earned money to the poor.
This gives the grandfather the perfect opportunity to tell the story of Ebenezer Scrooge. Three ghosts bring revelations and persuade Scrooge to turn his life around.
The performance includes traditional Christmas carols performed by the Trinity student choir, under the direction of Monique McConnell, performing arts director
The first performance is at 1:30 p.m., with advance tickets for $5. Tickets will not be sold at the door for this performance. The 7 p.m. performance tickets can be purchased in advance for $5 or for $7 at the door. Doors open 45 minutes before each performance.
