Barbara Ann Flick Kells, 89, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, went to be with the Lord on Nov. 12, 2013.

Barb was born on March 20, 1924, in Salem, Ohio. She worked as a "Rosie the Riveter" during World War II, and spent several years working and traveling before marrying her high school sweetheart, John (Jack) Kells, in 1951.

Barb was always generous with her time and attention, volunteering at her children's schools, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, 4-H and local food banks. She was also active in her church, teaching Sunday school and serving as a deacon for several years, and taught literacy classes and became involved in the local Neighbor to Neighbor program after retiring to the Prescott Valley area.

Barb is survived by her husband Jack; children Jeff, Sue Carter, Debbie Savelsberg and Dennis; grandchildren Kelly, Jason, Chris, Jessica, Casey, James, John and Jef; and great-grandchildren Joey, Evan, Christian, Trinity, Ellie, Mason and James.
