Eco_Logic: Residential solar at risk in Arizona

Residential solar is at risk here in Arizona if a proposed APS rate hike is approved by the Arizona Corporation Commission. The new rate structures would specifically require all grid connected solar-electric producing customers to sell 100 percent of their generated electricity to APS at wholesale ($.04c per kilowatt hour), and then buy back this same electricity from APS at the full retail rate ($0.12c per kilowatt hour) for any power consumed.
