OLLI's invites all to open house
OLLI turned 20 years old in 2013. Come help us celebrate! We are so excited about our accomplishments that we want to share our happiness with the entire community.
We have decided to have a free-to-the-public "open house." On May 29 at 11 a.m., the doors of the Yavapai College Performing Arts Center will be open to greet everyone in the community who would like to share in our celebration.
There will be refreshments, but in order to make sure we have enough for everyone attending, it is important that all those planning to attend RSVP to the OLLI office at 717-7634 as soon as possible.
The president of Yavapai College, Penny Wills, Prescott Mayor Marlin Kuykendall and Prescott Valley Vice Mayor Don Tjema will be joining us.
We also will have information for all of those who wish to learn more about OLLI.
Come meet present OLLI members. You can speak with members who were actively involved in the founding of OLLI. Meet our facilitators, our staff and general membership. We are sure that once speaking with those members attending and gathering some of the literature available, you will consider being part of OLLI too.
OLLI (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute) is a peer directed membership organization at Yavapai College's Prescott campus and NAU's Prescott Valley building, next to the library. OLLI offers more than 200 peer facilitated classes during five, 6-week sessions a year. For more information or to get on the mailing list please call 717-7634.
