Amber Alert issued for abducted 3-year-old Tolleson boy

TOLLESON, Ariz. - An Amber Alert has been issued by the Tolleson Police Department for a 3-year-old child who was allegedly abducted by his father at gunpoint.

The missing boy, Israel Celis Jr., is 3 feet tall, has brown hair, brown eyes and was wearing a light green shirt with grey pants that have a white stripe down the legs. He's also wearing Transformer flip flops.

Police say the suspect is the child's father, Israel Celis Sr. He allegedly broke into the mother's home at around 4:30 p.m. and held her and the child at gunpoint. According to the report, the suspect duct taped the mother and then grabbed his son and fled.

Israel Celis Sr., 32, has a tattoo on his forearm and back and is 5'6"tall, weighs 200 pounds, has brown hair, brown eyes and was wearing a blue t-shirt and blue basketball shorts.

Celis Sr. is driving a 2004 blue Chevy Tahoe, Arizona license plate ABJ 8126. He may be heading to Mexico and could possibly have two other children with him, ages 8 and 13.

Police say the suspect is armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or the Tolleson Police Department at (623) 936-7186.
