Obituary: William R. Snyde

William, 82, was born on Jan. 20, 1931, in Paris, Ill., to Russell and Hilda Snyder and passed away on Feb. 27, 2013, in Spokane, Wash.

He was a graduate of North High in Denver, Colo. He was drafted into the Army in 1951 and served in the Reserves until 1956. William married his wife Mary Ann in 1961 in Denver. He worked as a tool crib coordinator at Sundstrand in Denver. He retired and moved to Prescott, Ariz., where he enjoyed his time on the golf course.

William is survived by his son Gary (Cindie) of Spokane; his granddaughters, Nicole and Shelby of Spokane; and his sisters, Peggy Snyder (Walt Price) Mary Cottrell and Dorothy Taylor all of Joplin, Mo. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ann Snyder; his mother Hilda; and his father Russell.

William will be inurned at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake, Wash. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Spokane, P.O. Box 2215, Spokane, WA 99210-2215.
