PVPD seeks help identifying driver, vehicle that fled injury crash on Glassford Hill Road
Prescott Valley Police seek the public's help identifying the driver of a vehicle that turned left in front of a motorcycle Tuesday night on Glassford Hill Road.
At 9:04 p.m., Prescott Valley Police officers and emergency personnel answered a call about an injury crash at Glassford Hill and Pav Way.
Officers learned that a motorcycle, operated by Steven Craig Henry, 51, of Prescott Valley was traveling northbound on Glassford Hill when a vehicle traveling southbound on Glassford Hill turned left onto Pav Way in front of Henry's motorcycle, causing him to crash, Prescott Valley Police Sgt. Brandon Bonney said. The vehicle reportedly fled eastbound on Pav Way.
"Henry was airlifted by helicopter to a Phoenix area hospital with serious injuries," Bonney said. "He is believed to be in stable condition."
Witnesses described the vehicle as a beige or gold 1980s-model boxy four-door vehicle with several occupants inside. The vehicle may have had chrome bumpers and trim, Bonney said.
Prescott Valley Police ask anyone with information about this crash or who knows the identity of the occupants to call 928-772-5150.
