PRESCOTT - The city's solid waste division is scheduled to begin its annual cleanup program on April 1.
A news release from the city reported that all items must be curbside by 6 a.m. on Monday of the designated week for each route, and city crews will sweep through neighborhoods just once during the scheduled week.
The city's website lists the designated weeks as:
Monday routes - April 1
Tuesday routes - April 8
Wednesday routes - April 15
Thursday routes - April 22
Friday routes - April 29
The routes will be completed by Friday of each week in April.
"Items can't weigh more than 75 pounds," Field and Facilities Services Director Stephanie Miller said. "All materials must be bagged, boxed or bundled for collection, and tree limbs must be cut to four feet and tied."
Appliances that contain or have contained Freon (CFCs) must be accompanied by a certificate from a licensed professional stating that the CFDs have been removed. Compressors and motors must be removed.
Items that will not be collected include: tires, oil, lead, acid-type batteries, liquid paint, pesticides or other household hazardous wastes, and contractors' or demolition debris.
