UAF Superstar of the Week: Chipper

UAF Superstar of the Week: Chipper

UAF Superstar of the Week: Chipper

Hi, I'm Pamela. My family couldn't keep me any longer, but United Animal Friends (UAF) took me in and will find me a great home, I know. I'm a shorthair gray tabby with beautiful pale gray marbling that you will have to see to believe.

I'm 6 years old, and nothing much bothers me. My favorite activities are observing the world and getting attention. I'm not real big, so I will be your lap cat and enjoy watching TV with you. I'm okay with other cats, so a buddy might be nice. I came from a home with a dog, so that might be all right, if you introduce me slowly and carefully to yours. I have been spayed, am up to date on all of my vaccinations and am FeLV/FIV-negative. As the UAF Superstar of the Week, my adoption fee will be $20 to an approved home.

I am currently living at UAF's Kitty City in the Prescott Petco. Visiting hours are 9 to 10:30 a.m. and 4 to 5:30 p.m. Sundays through Fridays, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 to 5:30 p.m. Saturdays. If you would like to know more about me, please talk to Ruth at 379-1088.

You can also learn about other cats and dogs available for adoption at www.UnitedAnimalFriends.org.

UAF is always in need of foster homes for dogs and cats, as well as volunteers for its many programs. Interested animal lovers should contact UAF volunteer coordinator Jann at 759-3848 or jannkpamperspets@yahoo.com.

UAF holds its regular meeting at 12:30 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month at Yavapai Title Agency, 1235 E. Gurley St., Prescott. Animal lovers are welcome.

Donations for UAF's foster program can be sent to United Animal Friends, P.O. Box 11133, Prescott, AZ 86304 or can be made online at UnitedAnimalFriends.org. Contributions help with spaying/neutering, medical care and food for fostered pets.
