Tri-city area girls attend 66th Arizona Girls State

The 66th session of the American Legion Auxiliary premier program, Arizona Girls State, took place on the University of Arizona campus June 2-8.

Arizona American Legion Auxiliary Girls State is a weeklong program designed to educate young women in the functions of their government and kindle the desire to actively participate in and responsibly fulfill their roles as citizens, according to a news release from the American Legion Auxiliary.

Attending from Prescott High School were Odessa Clugston, Carson McKelvey and Naomi Worob; from Bradshaw Mountain High School were Dacie Clark and Kylie Morris; from Chino Valley was Vanessa Herb.
