Hollywood director Joss Whedon's much-anticipated film 'Much Ado About Nothing,' based on the play by Williams Shakespeare, will take center stage tonight as part of the Prescott Film Festival. The film, starring Nathan Fillion, Amy Acker and more, begins at 6 p.m. at the Yavapai College Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $10 for the film.
Tickets for an after-party at the college are $25, according to Prescott Film Festival director Helen Stephenson.
Actress Emma Bates, who costars in the film, will be on hand to answer questions following the film. She will also attend the film's after-party.
Stephenson said it took her six months to land the film for the fest.
"The film is in theatrical release. It's a pretty big coup that we got it. We had to use connections and write special letters to the distributors," Stephenson said.
