Jean Jackson Bricker

Jean Jackson Bricker was reunited with her Lord on Friday, Feb. 15, 2013.

Born Jean Elizabeth Jackson on March 13, 1924, to parents Merritt (Buzz) and Nell Jackson of Toledo, Ohio, Jean was the oldest of three children, followed by younger brother Thomas (Tom) Jackson and brother Merritt (Jim) Jackson.

She married her loving husband Robert Paul Bricker in the fall of 1948, and became an Air Force wife, moving from base to base until they settled in Dearborn, Mich., to raise their children. The family relocated to Fountain Hills in 1991, where Jean spent a lot of her time volunteering at the local elementary school where she became affectionately known as "Grandma Jean." Jean and her two surviving sons eventually relocated to Prescott, Ariz., in late 2005.

She was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and friend. She will always be remembered for her caring, outgoing ways, infectious smile and laughter, and who could ever forget those eyelashes and perfectly curled hair!

Jean joins her husband, daughters Cindy and Jeannie, and both brothers in Heaven. She is survived by sons Bob Bricker and Dave Bricker, along with four grandchildren, Tim Ryan, Tiffany Ryan Pepper, Buzz Bricker and Hanna Bricker.

Per her request, no formal services will take place. She will be laid to rest next to her husband Bob and daughter Jeannie in the Memorial Gardens of the Fountain Hills Presbyterian Church.
