Letter: BBBS thanks all the sleigh-makers

The Yavapai Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) would like to express their huge appreciation to two Big Brothers, Kenny Williams of Red Pony Productions (, and Lance Hoover of Lowe's ( for the majestic new sleigh and reindeer float created for Santa's arrival in the Prescott Christmas Parade this year.

Every year the BBBS float ends the parade and brings Santa and Mrs. Claus to the children of Prescott. This year, thanks to the construction and design skills of Kenny Williams, who owns a set design company, and the generosity of Lance Hoover at Lowe's for the materials and decoration, Santa and the Mrs., as well as many enthusiastic Bigs and Littles, were able to travel in style.

Pulling the precious cargo was the big rig of Lani Beach, of Arizona Beach Ranch, who although he had never participated in the parade before, did a masterful job of managing the logistics. BBBS also wants to thank all the Bigs and Littles that braved the freezing temperatures to make the new float such a success. We look forward to bringing Santa to the parade for many years to come.

Many, many thanks to our Big Brothers Kenny and Lance and Kenny's friend Lani, and Merry Christmas wishes to all from Yavapai Big Brothers Big Sisters.
