Obituary: Vicente Rodriguez Garcia

Vicente Rodriguez Garcia, 62, of Chino Valley, Ariz., entered eternity to be with his Savior on Dec. 7, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born April 5, 1951 to Adelaido and Maria Dolores Rodriguez Garcia in his much loved hometown of Jeres, Zacatecas, Mexico.

He was an N.C. machinist employed at Midway Industries in Prescott. He loved his work. He also loved the Bible, his family and his animals.

Vicente is survived by his parents; his beloved wife of 37 years, Holly Miller Garcia; son Vincent (wife Stephanie) Garcia of Prescott; daughter Adrianne (husband Jorge) Velasco of Prescott Valley; and four precious grandchildren, Jonah, Quentin, Ava and Nico. Vicente is also survived by nine siblings and numerous extended family members.

His strong work ethic, love for people and animals and his gift of serving others whenever he saw a need, will be greatly missed.

Private services have taken place.
