MI Windows donates $10K to wildfire defense
MI Windows and Doors of Prescott Valley and its key suppliers recently cut a check for $10,000 to the Prescott Area Wildland Defense Fund.
The donation is the first part of a pledge from MI to donate $25,000 over the next five years to help the Prescott Fire Department rebuild its wildfire defense teams, according to Patrick Schutte, director of marketing for MI.
The donations will go toward rebuilding a 10-person crew that works to prevent wildfire by educating the public. The money will go directly toward outfitting the crew.
MI's suppliers Cardinal Glass, Veka Inc., Quanex Building Products, ISC and the Amesbury Co. each donated $1,000, and MI matched that amount, according to Schutte.
