United Animal Friends Superstar of the Week - Milo

I really, really like it when people say, "Milo, do you want to play?" or "Milo, would you like some petting?" When I hear that I have to smile and purr, because those are two of my favorite things.

I'm currently living at Kitty City in the Prescott Petco because my owners had a big dog who loved to chase 1-1/2-year-old gorgeous orange and white shorthaired tabby cats named Milo. I never knew if the dog was going to eat me or what, so I don't think I can live with a house with a dog. I do like other cats and cat toys, and I like to talk to people all the time.

So United Animal Friends (UAF) picked me to be the Superstar of the Week. If we fall in love, I can be adopted this week for $20 to an approved home. I'm neutered, up to date with all my shots, and I tested negative for FeLV and FIV. If you would like to meet me, visiting hours at Kitty City are 9 to 10:30 a.m. and 4 to 5:30 p.m. Sundays through Fridays, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 to 5:30 p.m. on Saturdays. You can also call Ruth at 379-1088 to find out more about me.

You can also learn about other cats and dogs available for adoption at

UAF is always in need of foster homes for dogs and cats, as well as volunteers for its many programs. Interested animal lovers should contact UAF volunteer coordinator Jann at 759-3848 or

UAF holds its regular meeting at 12:30 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month at Yavapai Title Agency, 1235 E. Gurley St., Prescott. Animal lovers are welcome.

Donations for UAF's foster program can be sent to United Animal Friends, P.O. Box 11133, Prescott, AZ 86304, or can be made online at Contributions help with spaying/neutering, medical care and food for fostered pets.
