2 men arrested on charges of soliciting minors for sex
COTTONWOOD - Yavapai County Sheriff's Department arrested two men on suspicion of soliciting minors for sexual intercourse.
Kai Keller, 30, of Cottonwood initiated contact with a person he believed to be a female teenager through a social media website. Keller sent explicit photos of himself and described the types of sex acts he wanted to engage in with the teen.
Keller suggested meeting up with the teen in a commercial parking lot for sex.
On July 19, deputies arrested Keller at the agreed-upon location.
Keller was booked into the Camp Verde Detention Center on suspicion of aggravated luring of a minor for sexual exploitation in lieu of $50,000 bail.
On Aug. 2, deputies arrested Ken Roberts, 60, of Tucson on suspicion of several counts of aggravated luring of a minor for sexual exploitation.
In July, Roberts made contact through a social media site with a person who he thought was a female teenager.
Roberts sent numerous images through text messages of his genitalia and described sex acts he wanted to partake in with the teen. Roberts also sent photos of lingerie he purchased and wanted the teen to model for him.
Roberts asked the teen to meet him at a location in Cottonwood on Aug. 2. He intended to pick up the teen and take her to a local hotel.
Deputies took Roberts into custody at the location. He was booked into the Camp Verde Detention Center in lieu of $50,000 bail.
