Obituary: Charles Hazelton

Charles Hazelton of Dewey, Ariz. (formerly from Ash Fork), an Air Force veteran, died on April 2, 2013, at the age of 72 due to respiratory failure caused by COPD.

A soft-spoken, caring and generous man, he will be missed by everyone who knew him. If a man's wealth can be determined by how many lives he touches then "Chuck," a name his friends called him, was truly a wealthy man.

He passed away peacefully in his sleep to be with Jane, his beloved wife and soulmate, who went before him.

At his passing, he was surrounded by his family who loved him and who already miss him terribly. His departure from this world has left it a sadder place - and yet there is happiness in knowing that he has gone to a better place to finally be reunited with his love.

Those of us who are left behind will go on with a small hole in our hearts, but as better people because we were fortunate enough to have known him.
