Obituary: Dolores Bannon

Dolores Bannon left this world on Aug. 29, 2012, to join her loving husband Dick, to whom she was married for 54 years. Our precious Dolores passed on with devoted family and friends beside her, in the caring hands of Hospice Family Care at The Crossings in Prescott. She will be dearly missed, especially for her wondrous smile and warm heart.

Dolores had a deep spiritual faith and believed in loving everyone and everything without judgment, and brought this love to all she met. She also cared deeply about the earth and all of its creatures. Dolores was an artist who was active in community arts in both California and Arizona. She created a business painting custom mailboxes. She lived with her husband Dick in Prescott, Ariz., for the past 16 years. Before that time they lived in Dana Point, Mission Viejo and Pomona, Calif.

Dolores leaves behind three daughters and two grandchildren, and love that will live on forever.

She was buried beside her husband in a private ceremony on Aug. 31, 2012, on what would have been their 57th wedding anniversary.
