EDITOR:
On Sept. 15, the Transportation Department of Prescott Unified School District held its first annual "Stuff the Bus" with coats event. This event took place in the parking lot of Walmart who was gracious enough to provide the space needed in their parking lot. We collected about 300 coats during this event for both children and adults. These coats were donated to not only our Prescott schools but also a local homeless shelter. Our appreciation is extended to all who donated coats. In exchange for a coat donated, the donor was given a raffle ticket. Many businesses in and around Prescott provided gifts for the raffle. We would like to say thank you to the following businesses: Timber Woof Pet Boutique, Spice Traveler, Prescott General Store, Granite Mountain Materials, Subway, Antelope Lanes, Smoochy's, Wild Flower Bread Company, Denny's, Freedom Station, Waffles and More, Olive Garden, Macayo's, Hop Sing, Men at Leisure, Big O Tires, Papa John's, Salon Tru Blu Day Spa, Burger King, Pizza Hut, In N Out, Bennett Oil and Walmart. The generosity of our Community Partners is greatly appreciated.
