2012 All-Courier Volleyball Team

2012 All-Courier Volleyball Team:

Brette Anderson, senior middle hitter, Prescott

Next to Lyon, Anderson was one of the Badgers' most versatile and athletic players. Anderson had 132 kills, 25 service aces, 47 total blocks, 73 digs, and 246 assists in 84 sets.

Celeste Camargo, senior outside hitter, Chino Valley

Chino Valley's strongest all-around player, Camargo led the Cougars in kills and kill percentage as well as in serving. She could also be counted as a top-notch athlete on defense.

Nicky Lyon, senior outside hitter, Prescott (Player of the Year)

Lyon paced the Prescott attack with a team-high 207 kills and registered a 95.8 serve percentage. But she was equally impressive on defense, notching a PHS-best 206 digs in 88 of her team's 89 sets played this season.

Kylie Morris, junior middle hitter, Bradshaw Mountain

The talented Morris led the Bears at the net with 109 kills and a kill percentage of 40.2 in 58 sets played. But she was also a fierce blocker, tallying a team-high 88 total blocks, including 46 solo stops.

Taylor Satterlee, junior libero/defensive specialist, Prescott

A force at the service line, Satterlee posted a sterling 95.5 percent serving percentage, committing only 14 errors in 312 attempts. She also ripped 26 aces, the third-highest total for the Badgers this fall, and scored 5.8 points per set off her serves for PHS.

Raphael Temple, freshman setter, Prescott

A freshman phenomenon, Temple finished with a team-high 305 assists in 88 sets. She was second on the PHS squad in kills with 171 and first in service aces with 40. In addition, she was impressive on defense, racking up 57 total blocks and 111 digs.
