Abia Judd Elementary School PTA President Jennifer Carter presented students with the framed centennial quilt that they made on Nov. 2 as students celebrated Veterans Day and the Character Counts pillar of trustworthiness during an assembly.

Abia Judd students created the quilt in February 2012 to mark 100 years of Arizona statehood. Each square represents a signifi-cant event in Prescott's history.

The quilt's frame was built by Framer's Market and the Plexiglas was donated by Prescott Glass and Mirror in order to preserve the quilt, which will be permanently on display inside the school.
