Learn about raptors Saturday at preserve
WICKENBURG - Hassayampa River Preserve visitors can learn about the fascinating habits and habitats of raptors Saturday.
The event takes place from 9 to 11:30 a.m.
Professional bird tour leader Kathe Anderson will share insights about owls, vultures, hawks and other desert carnivores that have been featured in art, legends, ceremonies and stories since prehistoric times.
After the class, she will lead an easy walk on the trails to observe birds of prey.

The Nature Conservancy preserve is located three miles southeast of Wickenburg along Highway 60.
