Utility work and sidewalk demolition will take place this week on the City of Prescott's ongoing reconstruction of Mount Vernon Avenue and Senator Highway. Crews will continue to excavate and lay sewer line on East Goodwin Street, starting at Vir-
ginia Street and working uphill to South Mount Vernon Avenue. In addition, crews will begin construction on the waterline at the south side of the intersection of East Gurley Street and South Mount Vernon Avenue.
Crews also will begin sidewalk demolition at the south side of the intersection of East Gurley Street and South Mount Vernon Avenue.
The work will take place from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., through Friday. Drivers should be aware of lane restrictions and reduced speeds, flagging operations, and possible detours throughout the construction zone.
