Prescott police cited a man for reckless driving and driving a motorcycle without a motorcycle endorsement after he struck a vehicle at 8 a.m. Thursday on Willow Creek Road just south of Pioneer Parkway, Officer Robert Coker said.
"The motorcyclist was seen driving at high speeds splitting traffic by cutting in between the two lanes," Coker said. "When he spoke to officers, his story differed from witness statements."
Prescott firefighters initially treated the motorcyclist for injuries to his hand and legs, and Life Line Ambulance took him to Yavapai Regional Medical Center for further treatment, Coker said.
The driver of the vehicle and his passenger were not injured in the collision, Coker said.
