St. Paddy definitely dropped his love of fun at the Cordes Lakes St. Patrick's Day Party Saturday.

The music was great, guests quickly devoured finger food, and the wearin' of the green was evident.

The dance contest took place early so the King could wear his green derby and the Queen donned her "flashing shamrock" tiara for the remainder of the evening. Donn and Georja Anderson were the proud winners.

The Wearin' Of The Green contest was judged by crowd noise, and there was plenty of that! The group definitely leaned toward two couples, and all others were asked to leave the area so a final decision could be made on these couples. Eddie Foster and Jean Chester were winners, with Eddie's tee shirt tux and Jean's shirt, hat and shamrock tiara.

Peggy Meyer was the recipient of the first door prize of a $25 gift certificate to Chili's Restaurant. Jim Bryant won an aquarium, and Roger Phelps had a few hand problems holding the mannequin for his Cordes Lakes Centennial T-shirt.

Everyone who attended enjoyed the St. Patrick's Day revelry.
