PHIPPEN MUSEUM OF WESTERN ART, 4701 Highway 89 North, 778-1385, www.phippenartmuseum.org. "Arizona Pioneering Women: Early Arizona Artists" runs until July 8. Exhibit features the works of Kate Cory, Jessie Benton Evans, Marjorie Thomas, Lillian Wilhelm Smith and Claire Dooner-Phillips. The Solon H. Borglum collection features sculptures, furniture, paintings and other objects and memorabilia from Borglum's life on long-term loan.

"Poly Wood: Polymer Clay and Wood Creations," featuring the work of Judith Skinner and Joshua Pagliasotti, continues in the Mezzanine Gallery until March 30. A reception will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today, along with an autograph party for Parker Anderson and Elisabeth Ruffner, authors of "Images of America: The Elks Opera House," as part of the 4th Friday Art Walk.
